About

I am a multi-faceted developer and programmer of games and apps, a brewer, and a digital nomad.

My current project is Pensieve, an iOS capture app that makes it super-easy to email yourself.

I graduated from DigiPen Institute of Technology in 2007 with a B.S. in Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation (which is a fancy way of saying "video game programming") and a minor in mathematics.

As a professional developer I've worked on several commercial games. some of which have been pretty successful, including Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (Metacritic: 81), The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom (Metacritic: 83), and The Unfinished Swan (Metacritic: 79).

I'm the founder of Bushido Brewery, a Japanese-themed international gypsy brewery, though which I collaborate with local craft breweries to create unique beer and sake experiences. To date, Bushido Brewery has collaborated with breweries in Buenos Aires, Santiago, and Edmonton. I've also won a few homebrewing awards.

Since mid-2013 I've been working remotely, and in October 2013 I gave up my apartment in Los Angeles to become a digital nomad. I haven't had a lease since then, and in the years that have passed I've lived in 13 cities, in 10 countries, and on 4 continents.
